Christmas is almost upon us, and even though it will be different this year, you’ll want to stock up on essentials.
Due to the change in restrictions around the country, millions of Brits have had to change their Christmas plans, and as a result may have to do some extra food shopping.
But before you set out, it’s important to plan ahead, and check the supermarket opening times.
Whether you want to shop at Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi, M&S or Waitrose, the store opening times will be different over the Christmas period.
Some stores are closed both Christmas Day and Boxing Day, while others are open on the latter.
Here is everything you need to know.
Tesco
Tesco Superstores, Tesco Metro and Tesco Express tend to have different opening hours, but you can use the following as a guide.
December 24, Christmas Eve: Most stores will close at 7pm, with Express stores shutting before 10pm

December 26, Boxing Day: Most stores open from 9am to 6pm, apart from Express stores, which will be open from 8am to 10pm
