A bride has been slammed online for wearing a “skanky” wedding dress which shows her bum.
The one-of-a-kind gown was shamed on the forum Reddit.
Despite the frills, lace and exquisite detailing on the dress, posters were shocked by the lack of an under-slip which would make it more modest.
The see-though dress even revealed the bride’s sexy suspenders beneath the sheer fabric, reports The Sun.
On the sub-Reddit, r/weddingshaming, the poster said: “I mean she looks great but no, for a wedding dress.
Would you wear this dress in public or not? Let us know in the comments section…
And clearly 1.6k people agreed as they upvoted the post.
The dress elicited strong reactions as more than 250 people commented their thoughts on the dress.
One person said: “She has every right to wear what she likes.
“I have every right to think what she's wearing is incredibly tacky.”
“Listen I love a good scandalous dress but this is straight up lingerie,” added another.
A jokester added: “Maybe they are nudists and this was a compromise with the Catholic side of the family?”
While a raging poster said: “I think a lot of people hide their exhibitionism behind 'body positivity'.
“It's not appropriate to show lots of skin without making sure those who have to see it are okay with it.”
But others weren’t so against the wedding gown.
One person said: “Honestly if this had a slightly more opaque skirt I'd love it.”
And, another added: “Damn just imagine having that kind of confidence.”
While a third said: “I actually like it just not with a thong.”
“She looks hot,” commented a fourth. “Good for her – calling a woman ‘skanky’ for how she dresses is so outdated and boring.”
