Alicia Silverstone may have finalized her divorce from Christopher Jarecki, but the split didn’t come cheap for the former “Clueless” star.
Silverstone must pay her ex-husband $12,000 a month in spousal support until Jan. 31, 2024 as part of their divorce settlement, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight and People.
The documents also place limitations on Jarecki’s lifestyle in the four years that he receives payments from Silverstone, stipulating that her financial obligations would “immediately terminate” if he chooses to live with a “romantic partner” for at least five months in a 12-month span.
According to the settlement, Silverstone and Jarecki, both 42, will share joint physical custody of their 7-year-old son, Bear Blu Jarecki.

Silverstone filed for divorce from Jarecki in May after more than 20 years together as a couple, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The divorce filing specified that their spousal support would be based on a prenuptial agreement they signed when they married in June 2005.
The couple said in a statement in May that “they still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends.”
