Katherine Heigl

In a moment of life imitating art — or the other way around — Heigl was planning her wedding to musician Josh Kelley during the making of 27 Dresses. The two are still married today.

James Marsden

“I never came from that school of thought that because you’re in a romantic comedy that you need to act romantic comedy,” Marsden says. “We wanted to make this obviously enjoyable, fun and funny, but as real as possible.”

Malin Akerman

Fun fact: Akerman, who got married during the filming of 27 Dresses, ended up borrowing a wedding dress from production when hers didn’t fit right at the last minute.

Edward Burns

“I definitely think the reason the movie still works today and people love watching it is because it all stems from the top and [director] Anne Fletcher’s energy and openness,” Burns says.

Katherine Heigl

“We did a table read and she opened up her script and proceeded to nail every single line and joke,” screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna remembers about Heigl. “I’ve been doing this a long time I still don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone sit down and hit every pitch across the plate. Every. Single. One.”

James Marsden

The cake and tequila Marsden is enjoying in this shot were part of Burns’ birthday celebrations. He turned 51 on the day of the reunion shoot (Jan. 29).
