Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) has recently received the shocking news that Ben (Rohan Nichol) and Maggie (Kestie Morassi) are relocating to Italy in order to start a new life together. With the knowledge her parents will be on the other side of the world in just a few days, she is forced to swallow her sadness and help with the packing.

The oldest Astoni daughter is taken aback when Ben and Maggie talk to her about the house – saying that, instead of renting it to strangers, she and Dean (Patrick O’Connor) could have it instead. However, Dean is reluctant to move away from the middle of the Bay – what will they decide?

In another shocking move, Ben tells Dean that he wants to leave the board shop to him. Dean presumes he will need to buy it off Ben, but Ben says he’s giving the business to him. Dean is left in deep thought and worries about whether he can handle the responsibility…

As Maggie and Ben spend their final night together in the Astoni house, cracking open the champagne, Ziggy is left spiralling into despair at the sudden imminent departure at her parents. To make matters worse, Maggie finds her daughter’s old wedding album and gives it to her as they finish packing.

Ziggy takes the album, believing it will be a sign of closure as her divorce with Brody (Jackson Heywood) progresses. However, when Dean gets back to the Pier Apartment, he walks into their room to see her crying over photos of her with Brody on their wedding day…
