Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have many talents and apparently tasting food blindfolded is one of them.

The couple appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday where they competed in a hilarious game of “Taste Buds.” The game involved Bell and Shepard trying food while blindfolded and then describing it to each other so they could correctly guess the food item.

The pair went through a variety of snacks, starting off with oatmeal, which Bell quickly flubbed because she shouted, “It’s oatmeal!” without realizing she wasn’t suppose to give that away.

“The whole point is you don’t say it, he says it,” said DeGeneres.

She got the hang of it soon enough and Shepard appeared to have a natural talent for the game. They continued through several rounds, tasting things like like ketchup, Cheetos, popcorn and a head of lettuce.

For every correct answer, DeGeneres announced that Shutterfly would be donating $1,000 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. They guessed eight items correct, but DeGeneres revealed that they would be rounding up the donation to $10,000 for the foundation.

Along with the competition, Bell and Shepard sat down with the talk show host to discuss several topics, including Shepard’s sweet bromance with Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, which he says began on the red carpet of the Golden Globes.

“It’s a very sweet bromance,” said Bell.

The co-founders of the plant-based baby brand, Hello Bello, also revealed that they had “the talk” with their daughter, Lincoln, 5, about the “birds and the bees.”

Bell explained how the discussion started when Lincoln asked, “Where do babies come from?”

“We went through the anatomy,” Shepard added. “We’re laying it all out. We got right to the action.”

However, Lincoln didn’t stick around long enough to hear all the details from her parents.

“We get right to the good part and she’s like, ‘Okay, I gotta go outside,’” said Bell. “And just left! She bailed.”
