James Middleton, 31, has previously posted candid shirtless photos of himself on the social media platform along with pictures of his dogs enjoying picturesque country walks in the Scottish Highlands.

And despite not posting anything yet this year, fans have been gushing over old pictures of Kate Middleton's "gorgeous" younger brother.

Commenting on a photo of James wearing a velvet blazer and tartan trousers, one user wrote: "Anyone else consider him their celebrity crush?"

Another chimed in with: "Good gracious you are a gorgeous man."

Meanwhile, others highlighted the youngest Middleton siblings' single status.

Tagging a friend in the comments, another wrote: "Just FYI this is Kate Middleton's younger brother and he's on the market have a good day."

But not everyone has been quite so subtle with their declarations of love.

Before his Instagram account was made public, James boasted just 4,000 followers on the platform.

However, fans have also praised James for opening up about his battle with depression in a personal essay for the Daily Mail.

The 31-year-old said being born privileged didn’t make him “immune to depression” and described the illness as a "cancer of the mind."

In response to James' mental health struggles, one fan wrote: "I applaud your efforts for bringing awareness and inspiring those with mental health issues."
