HYSTERIC GLAMOUR has unveiled a set of eco-friendly garments from its eclectic seasonal lineup. After unveiling a collaboration with Richardson last week, the Japanese label has returned with a khaki suit, made entirely from undyed organic cotton.
Both the blazer and the pants have a semi-loose fit, with a cut that’s been lightly tapered. The blazer comes with a traditional three-pocket design, one pocket at the chest and two at the waist, and has been detailed with a large print at the back. Below its lapels are three tonal buttons, complemented by a woven patch logo at the upper right chest, while durable triple-stitched seams complete the blazer’s heritage-inspired design — the matching pants also come with a slightly boxy construction. Both pieces have been made with old shuttle looms in Japan to reproduce a natural beige cotton fabric called “West Point 41 Khaki” commonly seen in vintage U.S. Army uniforms.
HYSTERIC GLAMOUR’s Khaki blazer and pants are currently available on the label’s website for $376 USD and $302 USD, respectively.
