The 21-year-old is one of the brides to appear on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress, starring Princess Diana’s wedding dress designer, David Emanuel.
Arriving with her mum, gran, sister and friend, Danielle reveals she dreams of feeling like a princess on her big day, with her dress being “glittery and sparkly”.
The team get to work finding the perfect dress for Danielle, who’s marrying her childhood sweetheart, Tyler.
She says: “My fiancé is Tyler. We met when we were young, very young, he was 12 and I was 14.
“Everyday after school I’d go on the front of his bike or his scooter, because I wouldn’t use my wheelchair it just made me feel like I had a new lease of life.
“Seeing him going from a chubby kid to the man that he’s turned in to is amazing.
“He’s really funny and just keeps me going.”
Marrying in a plush hotel, gran Betty Wishart browses through the dresses, commenting: “It’s hard to imagine you in these when they’re all so big.”
Danielle reveals she suffers from pseudoachondroplasia, a form of dwarfism.
She says: “I’m 3ft3, exactly a metre.
“Ultimately my goal is to walk down the aisle, so I want a pretty dress.
“I want everyone to be able to see it and not be bunched up because I’m in a wheelchair.”
And looking like an adult is also important to Danielle.
She says: “When I out my wedding dress on I do want to get that teary moment, I want to cry, and I want to turn around and see tears in my entourage’s eyes.
“When we go normal shopping, everything my kind of size that we wouldn’t have to take up has hearts or stars or flowers on it
“I just want to look 21 rather than 12.”
After trying on a selection of princess gowns she finally finds her dream dress, and gushes over it calling it “gorgeous”.
An emotional moment, she breaks down in tears saying she ‘looks like a princess’.
When asked what it meant to her, she said: “Someone loves me, that someone wants to be there, that someone’s actually chosen me over everybody else they could have chosen.
“It’s the realisation that I am growing up. Because I’m short it tends to make it difficult for people to actually try and understand.
“And I feel like a woman in this dress, rather than feeling like a child.
“I got speechless, I couldn’t talk I was crying too much.”
Her mum and gran also wipe away tears, with her mum, Sarah-Jane Fair, saying she’s “speechless”, while gran Betty says “I knew this day would come”.
But there’s just one problem, the Randi Fenoli gown costs £2,835 – out of their £2,500 budget.
Mum swoops in to save the day, saying: “It could have cost £10,000. As long as she’s happy we’ll find the money.”
Say Yes To The Dress UK airs tonight from 9pm on TLC.
