This is what happened to Thea when she matched with a charming young man called George.
George's opening message to Thea wasn't a "Hey, how are you?" or cheesy chat-up line. He literally kicked off their conversation by insulting the outfit she was wearing in one of her photos.
In one of her pictures, Thea is sporting a mink lace midi dress from ASOS, worth £75.
For some reason, George took exception to this.

"Not gonna lie you're a bit of a joke but that dress in the last photo is not doing any favours. Hope this helps."
Thea, understandably, was taken aback by the horrid message.

He then went on to say: "Literally had to tell you else I wouldn't of slept.
"It's awful you not reckon? Charity shop job! I tell you what…GROW UP! And shop somewhere decent! Thanks. Hope this helps."
As a stark reminder to us all that men like George exist, Thea shared screen grabs of their chat to Twitter .
Other women quickly came forward to share their similar experiences.
Tash wrote: "Some guy matched with me once just to tell me he didn't like my eyebrows."
The whole exchange prompted Thea to call men "trash", which we totally get.
