Tom Parker gazed lovingly at his baby daughter in a touching video shared just days after The Wanted singer revealed he has a terminal brain tumour.

The bonding moment between the doting dad, 32, and 15-month-old daughter Aurelia was captured by the singer’s wife Kelsey Hardwick, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Kelsey’s clip, captioned ‘helping Daddy’ along with two hearts, shows Tom lying on the floor with little Aurelia energetically climbing over her dad’s chest.

‘Are you doing breathing with dad?’ Kelsey can be heard asking off-camera. ‘Daddy, are you doing deep breathing?’

Later, she adds: ‘You’re not really helping daddy are you? Say deep breathing, dad!’ as the adorable tot, dressed in a leopard print onesie, bounces on her father’s belly.

It’s clear Tom didn’t mind the interruption from Aurelia, who is set to become a big sister in just a few weeks.

The couple announced in May they are expecting a baby boy in November.

Rumours of a reunion for The Wanted, who shot to fame in 2009, began to circulate on Wednesday.

Tom shared his tragic diagnosis with fans Monday on Instagram.

The boy band star was shocked when doctors diagnosed him in August with stage four glioblastoma – an aggressive tumour – after he experienced a series of seizures over the summer.

‘All I could think was f***ing hell! I was in shock,’ Tom told OK. ‘It was a lot to deal with by myself. I still haven’t processed it.’

Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why. There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment. We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way. We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options. It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx @ok_mag

He has already started an intense course of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Covid-19 regulations prevented Kelsey from being at the hospital in person, so she had to learn the devastating news over the phone.

‘It was horrendous,’ she shared. ‘They said, “It’s a tumour and it’s worst-case scenario.”

‘They also told us it was inoperable and what the treatment would be. I was in a complete state.’

The growing family were determined to fight the grim prognosis and implored fans to remain optimistic.

In a joint Instagram post, they insisted: ‘We don’t want your sadness. We just want love and positivity…it’s going to be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this.’
