When booking property viewings, you want to get a good idea of whether the place is worth your time before you go and see it.

In order to do this, most estate agents will put up photos on their website for you to flick through.

But occasionally they'll try something different to really make a home stand out.

This is the case for one real estate company in Australia, who recently decided to shoot a video to accompany one of their listings.

And it's fair to say the clip has raised a few eyebrows.

LJ Hooker Bankstown, the company selling the property, hired two dancers for their rather unique project.

The man and woman were filmed getting cosy all around 42 Chamberlain Road in Padstow, climbing on to the kitchen counters before stripping down for a dip in the pool.

And while the video certainly shows off the modern property, it's fair to say no one watching was paying much attention to the house.

All eyes are firmly on the couple – with many viewers convinced they are about to start tearing each other's clothes off.

Even fellow real estate agents were unprepared for what they saw.

A woman named Jamie, who claims to work in the industry, replied: "Nothing, and I cannot stress this enough, I mean nothing, could prepare me for this video.

"You'd think after working in real estate for 12 years I would have seen it all, apparently not."

LJ Hooker have removed the video from their website and social media accounts.

They also released a statement apologising for the clip, saying they had "missed the mark".

They said: "We understand that our recent video circulated on social media promoting one of our listings may have been taken out of context by some and for this we apologise.

"We have removed the video from our digital and social media channels."

Despite the clip being taken down, several other copies have since cropped up online.

And it turns out that this is the tame version of the video, as the company actually filmed a steamier advert where the couple get "a bit closer".

This is according to LJ Hooker estate agent Sam Nader.

He told news.com.au all about the second video and added that even with all the criticism the property owner "loves" the original clip.
