Nick Grimshaw is set to invite the cameras back into his home for the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox, but he’s been treating fans to a slice of his home life during lockdown on social media too.
Fans will be pleased to hear that Nick will be reuniting with his niece Liv to star in Channel 4’s latest series of Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside the likes of Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash and Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra.
The episodes have been filmed during lockdown, with Nick spending the last 10 weeks isolating at his London home with boyfriend Meshach Henry.
And while cooped up indoors during the coronavirus pandemic, Nick has been sharing weekly updates of his time in lockdown with Meshach to Instagram, giving his followers a little look at his pretty impressive pad.
We’re talking quirky interiors, to dark feature walls, tiger print cushions and probably one of the coolest kitchens we’ve seen yet.

Nick has definitely put his stamp on the place, whether that may be creating zen yoga spaces or a living area perfect for partying in the early hours.
It’s safe to say that the Radio 1 presenter’s home pretty much oozes cool that’s not a far cry from Nick’s own edgy style.
And if you need picture proof of said coolness, then look no further than Nick’s kitchen.
The open-plan kitchen/dining space is covered with stone wallpaper and slate tiling across the floor.
While a double-door stainless steel fridge is masked within cool wooden floor-to-ceiling cupboards, a huge marble breakfast island breaks up the space – complete with bar stools – and a hob for cooking.
Matching marble lines the back wall that plays host to charcoal grey worktops, a large oven and a huge contemporary piece of art that sits above a wooden shelf filled with pretty vases and trinkets.
There’s a long dining table – great for hosting – that sits on a patterned rug and comes complete with wooden chairs, while looking out to more statement art that neighbours two cosy-looking blue armchairs.
We know where we’d be enjoying our morning cuppa.
The main living area is pretty huge – big enough for Nick and Meshach’s dogs to run around and, of course, for any impromptu parties after those showbiz parties.
It boasts dark feature walls offset by (yep, you guessed it) more cool art – Nick seems to have an eye for his decorative pieces – with sofas to chill and dark wooden flooring running through the rooms.
Fans may recognise the living room from Nick’s previous stint on Gogglebox, with him kicking back on his cream sofas, lined with tiger-printed and bright cushions bringing out a splash of colour.
Nick seems to be a big fan of statement lamps and patterned rugs, with all different styles running through the house, as well as dark palettes on the walls.
One room teams a charcoal grey with mustard yellow and seems to be where Nick likes to get his zen on, as he has posted snaps of himself mastering his yoga skills from time to time.
When he’s not yoga’ing, Nick and Meshach have been channelling their inner interior designer, with Nick revealing on Instagram that the boys have also been busy decorating their place.
Their home also comes with a garden for Nick and boyfriend Meshach to chill out and soak up the sun or enjoy some al fresco dining at a table big enough for two and surrounded by plenty of plants.
Nick and Meshach reportedly met at an exclusive VIP club in Oxfordshire and news first surfaced of their relationship in 2018, after they were seen hanging out at Soho Farmhouse together.
At the time, a source previously told The Sun of their romance: ‘Nick has found dating quite tough in recent years because of his job.
‘But he met Mesh a few months ago and although it’s still early days they are really enjoying their time together. They are taking things easy and not putting any pressure on anything.
‘Nick really likes him, and his friends are thrilled he has found someone who makes him happy.’
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about how he is finding lockdown, Nick joked that being forced to stay home felt a lot like Christmas at first, but he’s learnt structure is important to help get him through this strange ol’ time.
‘When it started it felt a bit like Christmas, like that weird time between Christmas and New Year where we were like let’s drink wine on a Monday and eat what we want, and we were having like apple crumble at lunchtime,’ he said.
‘And then after a few weeks of that I was like I think we need some order in here because we’re actually getting feral! But now we’ve gone the other way and we have a schedule. I think structure is key for me. I like to think that I don’t like any structure or routine but actually I really do.’
Nick added: ‘I think [lockdown is] also a great time for finding out what you like in these times. Like if you want to read more or think about changing your career or exercise more – not that you’ve got to do it now, but I think it’s quite a good time to be introspective and think about what makes you happy and who makes you happy and you can start planning things now.
‘I’ve not achieved anything per se in lockdown but I’ve definitely thought about what I want to do moving forward.’
Celebrity Gogglebox starts Friday 5 June at 9pm on Channel 4.
