Towels aren’t exactly exciting, are they?
You use them, hang them up to dry, wash and repeat. Surely people can’t be arguing about towels?
Wrong.
A huge debate has kicked off on social media after photographer Abdul Dremali asked what the ‘normal’ amount of towels the average adult should own.
It started after a conversation with his girlfriend revealed they have very different ideas on how many we should all have stocked away in the cupboard.
He tweeted: "Hello fellow adults. My gf and I have a question… what is the correct amount of towels to own?
"I said 10 and she looked at me like I was crazy.
"We have zero frame of reference on the appropriate amount of towels in a household of two."
Before long he was inundated with replies as people shared their idea of ‘normal’, with hugely varying numbers being thrown around.
The question causes lots of rows and left many people questioning what actually is normal, while others were just fasinated by the whole discussion.
So, how many towels do you own?
