Angelina Jolie donated money to two young boys’ lemonade stand who were raising money for Yemen – and we couldn’t love her more.

The two six-year-olds – Ayaan Moosa and Mikaeel Ishaaq – created the stand in east London after learning about the crisis affecting Yemen.

After hearing about what the two kids were doing via the BBC news website, the Hollywood star and humanitarian sent them a note apologising for being unable to buy lemonade, but wanted to help.

She wrote: ‘Dear Ayaan and Mikaeel. Thank you for what you and your friends are doing to help children in Yemen.

‘I’m sorry I’m not able to buy a lemonade from you, but I’d still like to make a donation to your stand.’

Adeela Moosa, Ayaan’s mother, said the 45-year-old actress contacted her UK representative before contacting the family.

The boys initially didn’t know who the star was, but ‘their dads were very excited’.

After being shown various Tomb Raider and Maleficent clips, they began understanding how enormous the whole thing was.

‘9 weeks on from the initial fundraiser .. the lemonaid boys have received an extremely generous donation from Angelina Jolie along with this amazing card!’ the family wrote on Instagram.

‘We are blown away!! One of the biggest stars in the world 🌍’

Ayaan and Mikaeel even made a video response, thanking Angelina for her generosity.

‘If you ever come to London, feel free to buy a glass of fresh lemonade,’ they said.

Currently, Yemen is suffering a humanitarian crisis and more than 20 million people are in need of urgent aid, while thousands have been killed during the civil war.
