Summer Walker performed some fan favorites during the latest installment of NPR‘s “Tiny Desk Concert” series on Friday.
The singer, clad in all gray and studded oval shades, performed fan favorites “Session 32,” “Wasted” and “Riot” in addition to playing “Girls Need Love” and “Playing Games,” accompanied by her band.
“Look, I’m really freaking excited to be here but I have social anxiety like a mother******,” Walker told the audience at the end of her set. “I’m freaked the hell out, I’m sweating, but this is so exciting for me.”
Through the release of Over It, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, Summer Walker racked up the biggest streaming weak of any female R&B artist ever, moving past Beyoncé‘s Lemonade.
