It’s apparently hard to go to work when hard partying is a side gig, according to the cast of Bravo’s “Summer House.”
Several cast members from the show — which follows a group of friends and their drama while living in a shared summer home — recently told Page Six that trying to juggle their careers with obligations to party in the Hamptons is, in the words of one star, “a lot.”
“It’s definitely really hard to party as hard as we do on the weekends and then go back to our full-time jobs,” said newbie Jules Daoud, a 25-year-old blogger.
Entrepreneur Kyle Cooke, 37, added, “I think we’re dealing with it more so than any show because we all scatter and go about our careers and our jobs Monday through Friday … it’s a lot.”
Amanda Batula, a 28-year-old graphic designer, said the commute from New York City to the Hamptons makes her workweek more difficult, while publicist Lindsey Hubbard, 33, joked, “When we stay on Sundays and then drive Monday mornings, that’s when the scaries really hit.”
But Hannah Berner, 28, said all that required partying has actually given her some skills for the workplace.
“I think filming on the weekend has helped my job actually be better because I practice just being open, confronting people, understanding my feelings, so in my comedy, in my podcast I’m able to be more open and real and I think it’s been good for me.”
The fourth season of “Summer House” is currently airing.
