We’ve made it to the Strictly final somehow!

We’ve got three dances – Jive, American Smooth and Show Dance.

I’m feeling good about the American Smooth because we’ve done it quite recently, but there are some complicated lifts at the end.

And also the ballroom element of it has to be good – I get a bit too excited, so I forget about the ballroom technique sometimes.

The Jive was in week one, so it’s still in my system a little bit, but that was almost two months ago. I’ve got to try and make sure I can remember that and do it better than I did the first time round. I don’t want it to be anti-climatic, especially in the Final.

Then the Show Dance is the new dance we’ve been working on, which I’m very excited for. There’s so many different styles of dancing and lifts involved.

There’s a lot, but it’s the Show Dance so you’ve got to go big or go home – and I don’t want to go home! I’m the most nervous for this one as it’s the big one.

Janette has been so great. I’ve been throwing her around and flipping her – I’m still calling her my “pocket rocket.”

And that’s even when she’s in heels! She does a bit of street dancing, and stomping in heels – I don’t know how she does it.

There was a story last week saying I’d joined celebrity dating app Raya. I’ve actually had the app for a while. I think someone must have seen my photo on there and sent it on – it’s a good photo actually, my profile looks great!

But then again, it can’t be that great as I haven’t really got anything from it. I haven’t used it for a while because I haven’t had the time. I might have to start using it again after the show.

I didn’t know if I'd make it to the final, ever. I knew Maisie (Smith) would because technically, I think she’s the best dancer on the show. She’s so great.

When I first saw Bill (Bailey) dance, which was before the show started, I didn’t think he’d make the final, but as soon as I saw his first dance, I was like, ‘Right, he can dance and people are going to love him.’

And then Jamie (Laing), week after week, I was like, ‘He is holding on every single week!’

I love Ranvir (Singh) and was sad to see her go, but when I saw Jamie had made it through, I was so over the moon for him because he’s been in the bottom two so many times!

I said I’d take Maisie out for dinner after the show – but it now depends on whether she wins or I win!

I would actually love Maisie to win because I genuinely feel she’s so talented. Regardless of what happens, I’m sure we’ll go for food at some point when restrictions allow.

I’ll treat her to a McDonald’s.

Former Strictly finalist Ashley Roberts has commented on quite a few of my Instagram posts. She’s really good friends with Janette.

She’s been really lovely and supporting me and Janette all the way through.

Saffron Barker from last year’s series sent me a message after the semi final and said she’s really proud I made the final.

She was asked by a fan who she wanted to win and she straight up said, 'I want HRVY to win', which is lovely.

All the contestants are in a WhatsApp group and we all chat in it.

Max George is very vocal – he was sending us pictures of himself on the beach when he was in Dubai, reminding us he was chilling while we were working hard in the training room. I was like, “Thanks, Max!”

Everyone speaks in there, actually. It’s really nice. It’s normally quite quiet through the day, but at night it gets going.

My tour next year has been moved due to Covid, we have no idea what’s going to happen. Everyone I’ve spoken to in the entertainment industry just wants to go back on tour again and go back to shows, theatres and arenas. I’m missing it a lot.

If I win, I’m sure me and Janette will have a socially-distanced drink. I’m not the biggest drinker, but I’ll probably have champagne or to be honest, anything I can get my hands on because it’s in a once in a lifetime celebration!

My hopes for 2021 are my new music, I’ll hopefully be travelling again, and hopefully I get to see to meet up properly with the Strictly cast.
