Shia LaBeouf has been pictured kissing new girlfriend Margaret Qualley, after his ex FKA twigs accused him of abuse and sexual battery in a lawsuit.
The 34-year-old actor and the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress were seen passionately kissing after Shia picked up Margaret, 26, at LAX.
Shia was seen wheeling Margaret’s suitcase to the car before kissing her up against the vehicle.
Margaret got her legs tangled up with her beau’s before they got inside the car, where they shared another kiss.
The pair were dressed casually, with Margaret wearing tracksuit bottoms and a jumper, and Shia wearing casual shorts teamed with Converse, while he also appeared to have a bandage on his right hand.
While picking Margaret up from the airport, the Disturbia actor wore a face mask reading ‘Love You Like You Hate Me’ – the name of the Margaret’s sister’s song for which the duo starred in an explicit music video.
In the video for the song by Rainsford, the stage name of Margaret’s sister Rainey, Shia and Margaret perform a choreographed naked sex scene.
The video was released two months ago, and it seems the pair hit it off on set.
Fosse/Verdon star Margaret is one of Four Weddings and a Funeral star Andie MacDowell’s three children with ex-husband Paul Qualley.
Last year, the actress dated Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, with her mum calling their relationship ‘beautiful’, but the whirlwind romance fizzled out after a few months.
Meanwhile, Shia is currently embroiled in a legal battle with ex-girlrfriend FKA twigs, who alleged that she was subjected to ‘relentless’ abuse and sexual battery during their relationship, which lasted just under a year.
The Two Weeks singer’s suit alleges that LaBeouf was driving recklessly in a car with his girlfriend shortly after Valentine’s Day in 2019 before removing his seatbelt and threatening to crash unless she professed her love for him.
FKA twigs, real name Tahliah Barnett, alleges that LaBeouf threw her against the car at a gas station while screaming in her face.
The 32-year-old also alleges that the Transformers star knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
LaBeouf did not address specific claims in the lawsuit, telling the New York Times: ‘I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behaviour made them feel.
‘I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.’
A former girlfriend of LaBeouf’s, Karolyn Pho, also alleges that the actor once headbutted her after drunkenly pinning her to a bed.
LaBeouf said in a separate email to the Times that ‘many of these allegations are not true’, but said that he owed the women ‘the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done’.
In light of the lawsuit, Netflix has moved LaBeouf from their awards consideration page for upcoming drama Pieces Of A Woman, in which he stars opposite Vanessa Kirby.
FKA twigs, who received widespread critical acclaim last year for her second album Magdalene, was previously engaged to Robert Pattinson and is now in a relationship with The 1975’s Matty Healy.
