The past two decades haven’t done anything to dim Shaquille O’Neal’s musical dreams.

The NBA Hall of Famer, 46, has teamed up with star DJ NGHTMRE to release “Bang,” his first new song since he released his fourth album, “Respect,” in 1998.

The propulsive dubstep track, which features a profane hook courtesy of Lil Jon, shows off how the four-time NBA champ has shifted his musical focus from rap to electronic music in the proceeding decades since listeners last heard from him.

Although his work on the court tends to overshadow what he did in the recording studio, Shaq’s music managed to have a bit of a commercial impact in ’90s.

His debut album, “Shaq Diesel,” went platinum, rising as high as 25 on the charts, while its follow-up, “Shaq Fu: Da Return,” went gold.
