Sandra Oh gives a heartfelt speech while accepting her award at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 47-year-old actress won her second Golden Globe during the show, this time for her work on the series Killing Eve. She made history as the first Asian woman to win Best Actress in a Drama Series in almost 40 years.
Sandra previously won back in 2006 for Best Supporting Actress for her work on Grey’s Anatomy.
“Mostly there are two people here tonight that I am so grateful that they are here with me. I’d like to thank my mother, my father,” Sandra said during her speech. She also thanked them in Korean, saying “Mom, Dad, I love you.” She used an endearing term for mom and dad instead of the formal version.
FYI: Sandra is wearing a Stella McCartney dress, Casadei shoes, and Forevermark jewelry.
