As Radar reported, Kelly turned himself in to police on Friday night and his legal team has been scrambling to put together the $100,000 bail necessary to secure his release.

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx announced the charges against the star, which followed years of rumors and allegations that Kelly abused women and underage girls.

Multiple females alleged in the January 2019 docuseries Surviving R. Kelly that they were victims of the singer’s sex cult, intensifying the campaign to bring him to justice.
