Pauley Perrette is slamming the immigration raids that President Donald Trump said will begin this weekend.
Border agents will begin raids in select American cities Sunday to remove people who are in the United States illegally, the president said Friday.
The “NCIS” star, 50, took to Twitter Saturday to share a screenshot of a lengthy story about her friend, who is a Mexican immigrant, writing, “This weekend’s #raids I’m so scared…”
“I have a friend who is a Mexican immigrant. He was brought here at age 8 by a bad dad that put him in child labor. When he was in school as a child, he was molested by a school teacher,” she wrote. “He is now a (sic) adult person with two beautiful children. He aged out of the DREAM program by a few years. He has no protection. He works hard, supports his family, is a wonderful friend and a beautiful person. He runs and bikes marathons for charity.”
She continued, “He had no choice. HE WAS 8!!! This is the only country he’s ever known. I am terrified. These #Raids are inhumane. If only all of you could meet my friend. Someone every American would be proud to call neighbor or friend.”

Perrette isn’t alone in finding the raids uncalled for.
Trump’s opponents have urged him to hold off, calling them an unnecessary overreaction and arguing that they are likely to ensnare innocent people, including migrants who missed court dates they didn’t know they had.
