Nina Dobrev is starting a couple important new chapters in her life. She was awarded the role of lead actress in a new primetime sitcom called Fam. And, maybe more importantly, she also just turned 30 years old.

That inspired Nina to have a continent-spanning, multi-day birthday celebration. The festivities started with several days of luxury safari adventures in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

For that trip, Nina was accompanied by a group of friends that included Jessica Szohr, Julianne Hough and her husband Brooks Laich. Nina gave that several-day, alcohol-fueled party-on-wheels the hashtag #NinaDirtySafariThirty. Given some of her swimsuit shots, Nina wasn’t kidding about the “dirty” part …

Then Nina returned back to Culver City, California where she hosted an overnight Coachella-themed blowout which she called #Ninachella. That party was packed with a who’s who of young celebs wearing their best raver gear, including Niall Horan, Shawn Mendes, Vanessa Hudgens, Vin Diesel, Lauren Paul, Danielle Campbell, Tyler Hoechlin, Jessica Szohr, Julianna Hough and Brooks Laich.

Also in attendance were Vampire Diaries alumni Kayla Ewell, Candice King and Julie Plec. For music, Nina’s friend Zedd apparently was willing to take over as the party’s official DJ and master of ceremonies.
