Lucy Mecklenburgh has opened up about the struggles she’s facing as a working mum.

In a recent post to her Instagram story, she confided in fans about “mum guilt” and the challenges of juggling motherhood with her busy work schedule.

“I don’t know how you mums with more than one child organise your life,” the reality star admitted. “ You are like superheroes,” she gushed.

The outpouring came following a “very busy” day filled with “lots of Zoom calls and meetings”

After revealing that she “absolutely loves being back at work more often,” the 29-year-old admitted that she was suffering with a bit of “mum guilt.”

She continued, opening up about what was on her mind.

Lucy detailed things like not seeing Roman “for a few hours” and “not being able to play with him as much” as the reasons for her guilt.

“Juggling work and mum life” is no mean feat, but Lucy still managed to squeeze in some quality time with a walk around the block with Roman.

Lucy also highlighted the challenges of breastfeeding while working. The new mum has previously hit out at trolls who criticise women for breastfeeding in public.

In a candid video, she filmed herself on a “breast feeding break” which she had to squeeze in between conference calls.

She captioned the snap saying that feeding breaks between work chats are the “reality of being a working mum.”

Looking radiant as ever in a cosy grey cardigan and comfy white T-shirt, the new mum admitted that she “didn’t get time” to do her hair.

Lucy longed for nap time as she confessed she didn’t have “a clue how [she] was going to keep him entertained during [her] next call.”

Lucy and her partner of three years, Ryan Thomas, welcomed their son Roman back in March.

The new mum has been open about the challenges of motherhood and revealed that Loose Women star Stacey Solomon is her biggest inspiration when it comes to weaning.

The busy mum-of-one has been working tirelessly on her fitness project RWL (Results With Lucy) and teased fans saying she was “so excited” about everything she’s got in the works.

This update was cutely interrupted by Roman’s grumbles.

Lucy revealed these were his “new noises” and happily joked that he “definitely takes after his father” by being so vocal.
