Kim Kardashian broke down while revisiting the awful moment she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

Speaking to David Letterman on his Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, Kim got emotional as she detailed her horrific experience.

Kim and Kourtney flew to Paris in 2016 to attend Fashion Week, but things soon took a turn for the worst.

The reality star, who recently shared a glimpse into her Californian mansion dressing room, admitted she was worried sister Kourtney Kardashian would find her body and be traumatised for life after masked gunmen broke into her room.

On that fateful evening, the 39-year-old had decided to stay in the hotel room while Kourtney went out with the only security guard they had.

The mum-of-two revealed she heard "stomping up the stairs" at three in the morning and was sent into panic mode.

After attempting to call the police, the intruders burst into her bedroom and demanded she hand over a ring her husband Kanye West had gifted her a few days prior.

Kim, who was naked under her robe, broke down in tears as she told host David she thought she was going to be sexually assaulted.

"I was like, 'OK, this is the time I'm gonna get raped. Like deal, this is gonna happen, just prepare yourself," she tearfully explained.

"So, I did and then – I don't know why I'm crying, I've talked about this before – and then he tied me up with handcuffs and zip ties and then duct tape and duct-taped my mouth and eyes," she continued.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star said a gun was pointed at her and at that moment, she was terrified about sister Kourtney returning and finding her dead body.

"I kept on thinking about Kourtney, I kept on thinking, like, she's gonna come home and I'm gonna be dead in the room and she's gonna be traumatised for the rest of her life."

Attempting to reassure David she was fine while recounting the traumatic experience, Kim said: "Besides that little cry session, I'm totally fine. I really am."
