Katie Price has been targeted by vile trolls who’ve branded her a "disgrace" for calling her son Harvey a "24-stone nightmare newborn".
The former glamour girl, 40, made the controversial comments on This Morning today as she confirmed she’s putting the disabled teen into care.
She revealed she’s now struggling to look after Harvey and said: "He’s 6’2, 24 stone and still growing…
"At night time, he’s like a nightmare newborn. I don’t get sleep."
Katie revealed she’s going to send Harvey to a special boarding school where they can take care of his needs and she can still visit him.
However, her comments made her a target for trolls who questioned her decision to get extra help for her son, who has autism and Prader–Willi syndrome.
One tweeted: "Since when has she been the poor lads carer?? Who was looking after him when she was flying off to get her teeth done in Turkey & all the holidays she had without him!! And When she was taken coke for 6 months??
"And globe trotting with the latest goon toyboy?"
Another wrote: "There are people in this world in your situation that have managed to do what you haven’t with barely two pennies to rub together and have succeeded and they are still breaking barriers and you can’t cope!!!! Get a bloody grip love."
A third slammed her for bringing Harvey onto TV with her to talk about her decision over his future.
They tweeted: "But would you bring the child on live television to tell the nation why you’re putting him into care?"
Another wrote; "Your a TOTAL disgrace to women!!! # PATHETIC."
However, there were plenty of This Morning viewers who applauded Katie for making such a brave decision.
One tweeted: "I just saw a bit of the interview, don’t know lots abt you. But as a mom of 3 you have my utmost respect on how you deal with Harvey!"
Another added: "I think Katie Price is absolutely right to get professional care for Harvey during the working week. She has other children to think about as well.’
Speaking about the difficulties in caring for her son, Katie insisted she was making the right decision in putting Harvey into boarding school from Monday to Friday.
Katie told This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: "I adore him so much… but my house is smashed to bits, he’s smashed eight iPads this year, four tellies."
She said Harvey scares her younger children Jett and Bunny by waking them up and shouting "boo!" in their faces.
When he is triggered, Katie said Harvey flies into a rage and will throw, punch and smash objects in frustration.
She added: ""I love him so much, he’s my absolute life but he’s just hard work now."
Katie said Harvey’s special school in south London has space for him to board there Monday to Friday, but she would "have him every weekend and holidays".
