Justin Bieber did not hold back in his reaction to an E! News television personality roasting his supposed lip syncing during his big “comeback” performance as a guest of Ariana Grande last weekend at Coachella. During his guest appearance, Justin did appear to lip sync over a very loud backing track, though he still got a big and very positive reaction to his return to the stage from the audience.

After the performance, Morgan Stewart — who hosts the recurring “Nightly Pop” program on E! News — mocked video clips of Justin’s Coachella appearance. She also encouraged her co-hosts to make light of just how out of sync Justin’s performance was with the backing track.

Well, Justin apparently feels that television hosts like Morgan should only comment if they have something nice to say. “@Morgan_Stewart just saw a video of you,” Justin tweeted yesterday afternoon, “ripping me to shreds saying I was lip-syncing. They played the song and i just sang overtop of it.. regardless why spend your time tearing people down.”

Justin then went on to suggest that what Morgan was doing was a kind of bullying. “It’s [p]eople like you,” Justin continued. “that are bullies at school that are making kids suicidal.”

Justin continued his rant over a couple more tweets. “What hurts about this is the fact that you have a platform to make a difference,” Justin continued. “And rather than being positive you belittle people.” Justin also claimed that it is perfectly normal for guest performers doing “cameos” to sing over top of backing tracks.

Later, Ariana Grande also weighed in to defend Justin on her Twitter account. Reacting to a fan who retweeted part of Morgan’s telecast, Ariana wrote –

people look so ugly when they talk about other people like this, it’s crazy. like no matter how pretty you are or how long u spent getting ready, u ugly to me now. HOW do people watch s**t like this lmao.”

So far, Morgan and her team at “Nightly Pop” do not seem to have responded to the criticism.

Below we have Justin and Ariana’s full comments, as well as the original video of Morgan making fun of Justin’s lip syncing on “Nightly Pop.”
