Bobby Brown Jr., son of singer Bobby Brown and Kim Ward, has been found dead in Los Angeles, according to police reports.

The 28-year-old was discovered after police were called to his home on Wednesday to attend a “medical emergency.”

Although the cause of death is not yet clear, no reports are suggesting foul play was involved.

His brother, Landon Brown, confirmed the tragic news with a touching tribute to the 28 year old on social media.

Landon posted a black and white photo of Bobby Jr. with his hands held in a prayer position with the caption: “I love you forever King.”

Friends of Landon took to the comments to post messages of condolence.

“Praying for you and your family,” one said, while another wrote: “I’m praying for you and the family, Landon. I can’t even imagine. I’m here if you need anything.”

Bobby Jr.’s death comes just five years after that of his half-sister, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

She spent six months in a coma after being found unconscious in a bathtub. The injuries sustained from the incident were ultimately what caused her death.

The circumstances of her death were unsettlingly similar to that of her mother who was also found dead in a bath in February of 2012.

It’s believed that she accidentally drowned after a coroner highlighted drug use as a contributing factor to her death.

Whitney and Bobby married in 1992, but had a turbulent relationship, including infidelity, domestic abuse and drug use.

The pair divorced in 2007.

Bobby Jr. is the second child that Bobby Sr. has lost to tragic circumstances. The singer, has five other children and is currently married to manager Alicia Etheredge.
