Ariana Grande joined an increasing number of artists in the peaceful protests over the death of George Floyd in police custody.
The singer shared on Twitter on Sunday the news of her leaving quarantine and marching along with other protesters in a Black Lives Matter protest in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood the day before.
Grande as well as some of her co-protesters posted on social media the photos of her taking part in a march wearing a mask, an oversized yellow and black shirt, and white pants carrying a sign reading “Black lives matter.”
She expressed disappointment over the “Hours and miles of peaceful protest” not getting media coverage.
“All throughout Beverly Hills and West Hollywood we chanted, people beeped and cheered along. We were passionate, we were loud, we were loving. Cover this too please,” she tweeted with the hashtag #BLACKLIVESMATTER.
