Ant McPartlin has broken his month-long Twitter silence as he got back to work – by promoting an ITV show.
The Geordie presenter is due to start filming the new series of Britain’s Got Talent alongside his best pal Dec Donnelly very soon.
He’ll be back on screens after months away following his drink-driving conviction.
Ant stepped down from his presenting duties to focus on his recovery after he was involved in a three-car collision and found guilty of drink-driving.
But now, as he gets ready to head back to the office, he took to Twitter to urge his followers to watch another ITV show that starred his pal and fellow Saturday Night Takeaway star Scarlett Moffatt.
He wrote: "***exciting show alert*** Tonight ITV 9pm Re-Play 2018 with Richard Osman Play along and see if you’ve been paying attention to 2018. Enjoy! A"
"Miss you Ant," one fan replied.
And another said: "Don’t care about the show, just love that Ant tweeted"
While another replied: "So happy to see that ‘A’ back. Good luck with 2019 boys."
Ant hasn’t tweeted since November 18, when he wished Dec and his stand in Holly Willoughby good luck for I’m A Celebrity.
He said: "All the very best of luck to the little fella and @ hollywills for the show tonight. Lots of love from the big fella!! A # ImACeleb Xxxxxx"
Following Ant’s arrest, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway was taken off the air for one week, and the following week, his best pal Dec returned to host alone.
Dec also went solo for the Britain’s Got Talent live shows.
But when it came to the most recent series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, bosses brought in This Morning’s Holly to co-host alongside old pal Dec.
Holly said from the very beginning that she wasn’t filling Ant’s shoes, but just keeping them warm for a bit.
And now, it seems that normal service will be resuming in 2019.
Geordie star Ant will soon be back to work on the new series of Britain’s Got Talent and Holly will return to host This Morning and Dancing On Ice alongside Phillip Schofield.
